The Environment Agency releases a regulatory position statement on EPR reporting requirements
The environment agency has released a statement that enforcement action will not be taken for large producers who miss the 1st October or 1st April deadlines, as long as data is provided by 31st May 2024.
"the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with these legal requirements if you meet the requirements in the RPS."
This RPS has the following requirements, you must:
submit the first reports containing the data covered by regulation 17(1) on or before 31 May 2024
submit the second reports containing the data covered by regulation 17(1) on or before 31 May 2024
keep records for 2 years to show that you have complied with this RPS and make these records available to the Environment Agency on request
